Luggage & Storage
The Charles Café & Guesthouse does not offer on-site luggage storage facilities. Instead, we recommend using a service called "Bag Drop" to assist with luggage storage needs. This can be particularly useful for guests who arrive early or need to check out late and require a secure place to store their luggage during those times. Parking
Unfortunately, parking is very limited in De Waterkant Village; however, secure underground parking is available at the Cape Quarter Shopping Centre at an additional cost. The parking area is centrally located and within easy walking distance to the main shops, boutiques, restaurants, and other activities.
Function facilities
The Charles has two spacious roof decks from which guests can enjoy beautiful city and Table Mountain views. From the courtyard of The Charles, a wooden staircase leads up to the main deck, with another wooden staircase leading up to the upper and slightly smaller deck. The main deck boasts an outdoor barbeque. The roof deck is ideal for an intimate cocktail party, team building event or a special birthday party.
